Finding Your Part

7 Questions
Your part number is printed directly on the control board itself — not on the appliance sticker. Remove the board and look for a white or silver label, usually on the face of the board near the edge or printed directly into the circuit board itself.

By brand:
  • LG: White barcode sticker on a large capacitor on the board face. Starts with EBR or EAX.
  • Samsung: QR code sticker sitting on top of a chip. Starts with DA92 or DA41.
  • GE / Hotpoint: Printed directly on the board or on a sticker near the board edge. Starts with 200D or WR55.
  • Whirlpool / Maytag / KitchenAid: Sticker on the board back or edge. Starts with W10 or WPW10.
Can't find it? Send us a photo — we'll ID it for free before you order.
Part number is the most reliable match — if the part number on your board matches the product listing, it's the right board. Full stop.

If you're searching by appliance model number, check the product description — we list compatible models for every board. Still not sure? Contact us with your model number and we'll confirm compatibility before you order. Getting the right part the first time is the entire point.
Location varies by appliance type:
  • Refrigerator: Usually behind the back wall panel inside the fridge, or behind a panel at the top rear exterior.
  • Washer (front-load): Behind the front panel or control panel at the top.
  • Washer (top-load): Under the control panel lid at the back.
  • Dryer: Behind the control panel or inside the back panel.
  • Dishwasher: Behind the door panel, usually bottom left.
  • Oven / Range: Behind the back panel or under the cooktop.
Always unplug your appliance before accessing any internal components.
Our search handles both formats. You can type DA9200384E or DA92-00384E — it'll find the same board. If you're not getting results, try removing the dashes entirely or double-check the number against the label on your board. Part numbers are case-insensitive too, so lowercase works fine.
The model number is on a sticker or label on the appliance itself — not on the board. Common locations:
  • Refrigerator: Inside the fridge on the side wall or ceiling, or on the back exterior.
  • Washer / Dryer: Inside the door frame or on the back panel.
  • Dishwasher: Inside the door edge.
  • Oven / Range: Behind the storage drawer or on the frame behind the door.
Once you have the model number, search it on our site or send it to us and we'll find the right board.
No problem. Send us a photo of your board — front and back if possible — and we'll identify the part number for you at no charge. We do this all the time. A clear photo of the label area is all we need, and we'll get back to you fast.
No — do not substitute boards based on appearance. Even boards that look identical can have different firmware, voltage ratings, or connector configurations. Using the wrong board can damage your appliance or create a safety hazard. Always match by exact part number. If you're unsure, contact us before ordering.

Our Quality

5 Questions
Every board we sell is a genuine OEM part — the same board that originally came in your appliance. It's then professionally reconditioned through our FailSafe Precision Protocol™: failure pattern analysis, multi-point diagnostic testing, and proactive replacement of high-failure components with new parts. The result is a genuine OEM board that's been upgraded at the component level, not just tested and shipped.
It's our proprietary board recertification process — something we developed after mapping failure patterns across hundreds of board models. Here's what happens to every board before it ships:
  • Failure Pattern Analysis: We've identified which components fail on each board model and why.
  • Precision Diagnostic Testing: Every board undergoes multi-point testing — components are individually verified, not just visually inspected.
  • Proactive Component Replacement: High-failure components are replaced with new parts even when they still test within spec. An 80% degraded part will fail in 6 months — we don't ship that.
The result: warranty-backed board quality and industry-leading reliability on every order.
Every board we sell is a genuine OEM part that goes through an additional recertification process most sellers don't do — we proactively replace components known to fail on each specific board model before it ships. You're getting a board that's been precision-rebuilt at the component level, backed by a 1-year warranty, and shipped same day. That combination of genuine OEM quality, FailSafe Certified™ processing, and real warranty coverage is what sets us apart.
Extremely. The FailSafe Precision Protocol™ eliminates the most common failure points before the board ever ships — that's the whole point of proactive component replacement. Our warranty claim rate is very low, and the boards that don't work on the first try are covered by our 1-year warranty, so you're protected either way. Check our verified customer reviews for real-world results.
Every board is sealed in a single-use ESD (anti-static) bag to prevent static damage, then wrapped in protective packaging inside a shipping box. Boards priced $200–$500 ship via 2-day service by default. Every board arrives exactly as it left our facility.

We only list boards that are physically in stock in our facility. If a board isn't listed, we don't have it. Contact us and we'll let you know if we can source it or suggest an alternative. We never take orders on items we can't ship same day.

Because we ship same day, orders move fast. Contact us immediately after placing your order if you need to make a change — we'll do our best to catch it before it ships. Once an order has shipped, it follows our standard return policy.

Warranty & Returns

6 Questions
Every board is covered for 1 full year against manufacturing defects. If your board fails due to a defect within that period, we'll repair or replace it. We handle warranty claims fast — no extended back-and-forth, no making you prove the obvious.
Simple. Contact us with your order number and a description of what's happening. We'll assess it quickly and let you know if it's a repair or replacement. We're solution-oriented — if something went wrong, we want to fix it.
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase on boards in original, uninstalled condition. A restocking and retesting fee applies to opened returns — we can't resell a board we can't verify. If you're exchanging for the correct part or placing a new order, we waive the restock fee entirely. Contact us to start a return.
It happens. Contact us with your order number and the correct part number. If you're exchanging for the right board, we waive the restocking fee — we just want you to get the right part. Return the wrong one in original condition and we'll get the correct board out to you.
A restock and retest fee applies to opened boards returned for a refund — every returned board has to be fully retested before it can go back into inventory, and we can't resell a board we can't verify. However, if you're exchanging for the correct part or placing a new order, we waive the fee entirely. We're not here to nickel-and-dime — we just need to protect against boards that have been installed and returned.
Contact us immediately with photos of the damage and the packaging. We take packaging seriously — every board ships in an ESD bag with full protective packaging — so damage in transit is rare but does happen. We'll get a replacement out to you fast. Don't throw away the packaging as it may be needed for a carrier claim.

Installation & Technical

5 Questions
Most control board replacements are straightforward DIY jobs — unplug, swap connectors, reinstall. No soldering, no special tools required in most cases. If you're comfortable with basic appliance disassembly and following instructions, you can do this yourself. We have installation guides for the most common boards on our Help Center. That said, if you're not comfortable working around appliances, having a technician install it is always a valid option — it still beats the cost of a full service call to diagnose AND replace the board.
Common signs your control board has failed:
  • Appliance is completely unresponsive — no lights, no display, no power
  • Error codes on the display that don't clear after a reset
  • Appliance starts randomly or behaves erratically
  • Specific functions stop working while others are fine (e.g., cooling works but ice maker doesn't)
  • Visible burn marks or a burning smell coming from the board area
Not sure? Describe your symptoms to us — we'll give you an honest assessment. We'd rather help you diagnose it correctly than have you buy the wrong part.
First, double-check that all connectors are fully seated — a partially connected harness is the most common cause of a "still not working" situation. If everything is connected correctly and the issue persists, contact us — it's possible the board isn't the only faulty component, or there's a secondary issue we can help troubleshoot. Our warranty covers the board itself; we'll work with you to figure out what's going on.
Most boards are plug-and-play — no programming required. Some specific models (particularly certain Samsung and LG refrigerators) may require a reset procedure after installation. We note this in the product description where applicable. If you're unsure about your specific board, ask us before you install.
Check our Help Center — we publish installation and troubleshooting guides for the most common boards we carry. YouTube is also an excellent resource; search your exact model number and "control board replacement" for video walkthroughs. If you can't find a guide for your specific board, contact us and we'll point you in the right direction.

Pricing & Value

3 Questions
A technician's quote includes the part plus a diagnostic fee, labor, travel time, and their markup on the part itself. You're often paying $300–$600 for a board that costs $80–$150. When you buy directly from us, you're paying for the genuine OEM part only — plus our FailSafe Precision Protocol™ processing. The installation is usually a straightforward DIY job that takes 20–30 minutes. The savings are real.
General rule: if the repair costs less than 50% of a new appliance, repair it — especially for appliances less than 10 years old. A control board replacement typically costs $60–$200 versus $800–$2,000 for a new appliance. Even with labor, you're usually well ahead. The only exception is if the appliance has multiple failing components — at that point the math changes. Describe your situation to us and we'll give you an honest take.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify's payment system.
