The part number for an appliance control board can typically be found in a few different ways:

Most control boards will have the part number printed on a white or colored label, see examples below. While some control boards have the part number printed directly on the board it is best to go by the sticker number as the printed board number maybe used for multiple models and programmed differently for each.

In the user manual: The user manual for your appliance should contain a list of parts, including the control board. The part number will be listed next to the description.

How to find your GE Refrigerator Control Board Part Number
Above you can see the image of a very common GE refrigerator control board. Notice the white sticker on the lower portion of the board, this is where the part number is located.

Search by part number

How to find your LG Refrigerator Control Board Part Number
While LG boards come in many shapes and sizes finding the part number is straight forward. You will need to look for a sticker on the board, it is often white, pink or yellow. LG boards can start with letters or number the most common being the letters EBR or numbers 687 and then followed by 8 numbers or letters.

Larger LG boards will Typically start with the letters EBR followed by 8 numbers. The example shows a board with the part number EBR87463701. It is important to note you need all 8 numbers to order the correct board, some boards have 6 numbers printed on the board itself, always make sure to check the sticker.
